🛡️ Privacy First: Qena is a 100% offline-first application. No user accounts are required, and your personal financial entries never leave your device.

1. Overview

Qena ("the App") is developed and provided by Techverse ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data Collection and Storage

Qena was architected to give you complete ownership and confidentiality over your personal finances:

Local Storage (SQLite): All transactions (income, expense), categories, groups, bank accounts, cash wallets, savings goals, and contact notes are stored exclusively in local database storage on your device.
No Account Required: We do not ask for, collect, or store personal identifiers such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, or account credentials.
No Cloud Transmissions: We do not upload, synchronize, or transmit your financial records to any external cloud servers or third parties.

3. Permissions and Third Parties

Internet Permission (android.permission.INTERNET): Used only for checking general network connectivity, querying public currency exchange rate figures (if requested), or navigating to external web links you tap. No personal data is ever transmitted.
No Trackers or Ads: The app does not embed third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or data-brokering analytics tools.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Since your data is strictly stored on your own physical hardware, you have full custody:

You can create, edit, or remove any record within the application at any time.
Uninstalling the application or clearing the application's storage data in your Android settings will permanently wipe all stored database files.

5. Children's Privacy

Qena does not target children under 13 years of age and does not collect any personally identifiable information from any individual.
